Designed with Nick Humbel, this poster tells a short story of Mickey who gets contaminated by the Noro-virus and then captured as part of the CalArts freak show. The narrative is playing off of a Noro-virus outbreak that led to the cancellation of 2013 Halloween party due to a mishandling of food in the CalArts cafeteria.
This satirical approach was inspired by our frustrations of unethical distributions of contaminated food in
the cafeteria, and of freak shows and spectacles that are normalized social constructs by those in power.
